Alright everyone, I've joined The Offside blog now, and my first article is up! Check it out now!
And make sure to comment over there as well!!!!

Just a little heads up for everyone, finally got in contact with The Offside and I should be writing on there sometime soon. Not sure exactly when yet, but it's in motion at least finally.
I'll write an article whenever I'm actually given a log in and all that about how piss poor the Sociedad match was, and how it was the fault of both the players and coach.
I know L4LC is still up, but it's still dead. I'm just gonna leave it up a little longer in case people who haven't visited in a while come back and wonder where everyone went.
I'm on The Offside now, so everyone should move over there (and/or also VCF Central).
Kyle.
Sorry for not writing anything in a while everyone. As I'm sure some people have guessed or feared, Loco4LosChe is indeed dead. I will not be writing for this site anymore.
Why? Honestly, I just don't feel like doing it anymore. I was serious about upgrading and moving the site before, but it turned into a massive cluster fuck with nothing working right, and while I could try again, I just don't want to. It's too much of a hassle to write every day (or almost every day) and also do all the behind the scenes maintenance.
For those of you in the Prediction League, don't worry. I will continue it until the end of the season and send out prizes still when it's over. It will just be conducted by email (which it already was anyway).
Now, I wasn't planning on leaving altogether. I did try to get in contact with the The Offside Valencia blog to become a writer there, but I have yet to hear back from them (it's been over a week, ugh). I considered writing for VCF Central, but like I said before, I really don't feel like writing on a daily basis anymore. I just don't have the passion like I used to. I'm sure some of you will blame my girlfriend for this (lol) but it's not because of that. I don't watch football like I used to. In fact, I didn't see either Sevilla match or the Villarreal match as well. And I enjoying not having to wake up every morning and translating shit from Spanish into English.
I've been doing this site for three years, and I'd just like to thank everyone who has contributed during that time, either as a writer or fan who commented in the comments section.
So what now? There are still two very good VCF sites in English out there for people to visit I would recommend, the Valencia blog on The Offside, and also VCF Central. Hopefully, at some point I'll turn up on The Offside and will write maybe one or two articles a week. There are also loads of other sites to check out in multiple languages (check the home page).
Thanks to everyone and adios. ¡Amunt València!
Youngster Juan Bernat is unaware of any of the rumors linking him to a loan move to Alcoyano, though speculation remains rampant.
"I don't know anything about a possible departure to Alcoyano. Nobody from the club has contacted me to tell me anything," said Bernat.
He continued, "The truth is I don't know what I would do if the option was given to me right now. Right now I'm only thinking about VCF."
Bernat is hopeful though that new coach Sergio Ventosa can change things around with struggling Mestalla.
"I know the new coach from my second year in the cadets. I have very fond memories because we were champions. I'm confident that things will be fine."
Bernat had a fantastic preseason with Valencia, earning his first team debut in the league opener against Racing Santander, but after a disappointing first half was subbed off and was relegated to the reserves. Bernat has struggled to make his mark in the reserves as well, though the change of coach could freshen things up.
Article from Super Deporte
The draw for the Copa del Rey has been made and Los Che will face Sevilla in the round of 16, with the first leg being held at the Mestalla and the second leg at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.
If VCF advance, things won't get easier as they face a potential quarter final match up with city rivals Levante, and a potential semi final appearance against either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
The complete Copa del Rey round of 16 draw:
Mirandés v Racing Santander
Albacete v Athletic Bilbao
Alcorcón v Levante
Córdoba v Espanyol
Real Sociedad v Mallorca
Valencia v Sevilla
Barcelona v Osasuna
Real Madrid v Málaga
Quarter final draw:
A - Córdoba or Espanyol v Mirandés or Racing
B - Real Madrid or Málaga v Barcelona or Osasuna
C - Valencia or Sevilla v Alcorcón or Levante
D - Albacete or Athletic v Real Sociedad or Mallorca
Semi final draw:
Winner A v Winner D
Winner C v Winner B
For anyone who has visited L4LC for any amount of time, you have no doubt experienced, at least once, the site being extremely slow. Also, as everyone can see, I don't always update the league table, next match, calendar, etc after every singe match. Well, there is a reason for this (besides my natural laziness), my web host sucks. Now, not to slag them off too much, but they were good for me when I first started out the site, but as it has grown, things have gotten harder to manage.
The breaking point was really been over the last couple of months, with their servers being slow every single day, not just once in a while as used to be the case. So long story short, I'm happy to announce that L4LC will be moving servers soon! I plan on this happening sometime during the winter break. Also, I will be changing the software I use to actually make the site. The new software will be vBulletin, which will (hopefully) make everything easier for me, as well as make things look a little cooler.
And.... it's been tried before, but there will be a forum for the site again. Before, I tried to make it a general La Liga forum, which really didn't work due to people only caring about three teams (guess which three lol). Now, the new forum will be VCF centric. I've always said that having a comments section AND a forum on ONE SITE is difficult, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
Finally, I will update the Prediction League table during the winter break, I promise. Again, slow servers kinda mess everything up.... And I realized the other day that I never actually announced what the prizes will be for the winner and runner's up. I will write a separate article about this in the days to come, so keep your eyes peeled!
Oh yeah, happy holidays and all that jazz.
